Recognising that voluminous history books, even about karting, are not necessarily for everybody, I have also compiled two ‘easy-to-read’ books based around the popular book theme of “Did You know that….?”
Both are compendiums of fast fun facts, feats, figures, and failures about the halcyon days of karting in Scotland during the sport’s early formative years from 1960 to 1980.
“250 Facts You Didn’t Know About Scottish Karting History”
The first title takes you through the triumphs, trials, and tribulations encountered during the early years of Scottish kart racing. It also takes a light hearted look at some of the more unique and amusing events that, while also highlighting the many challenges faced by the key personalities, clubs, and kart businesses alongwith their eventual achievements that helped shape karting in Scotland to what it is today.

A similarly themed and styled publication, but covering the entire UK, with a bias towards karting in England.
