Redstone Websites to Develop Project’s Archival Website

Redstone Websites with more than 50 years of combined experience in the design and  development of bespoke websites, content management systems have been selcted to build the project’s archival website.

Key to their appointment was Redstone’s proven IT experience, particularly in building and maintaining large scale online digital repositries, similar to that required by British Karting Heritage. Fundamentally, husband and wife team Kim and Graham Ritchie were also seen to be an excellent fit for the project, demonstrating a clear understanding of the project scope and specification while offering a very professional, yet personal and customised service.

Kim has managed multiple website projects, including for Scottish Enterprise, the NHS, the Scottish Parliament, Edinburgh's Telford College, the Edinburgh Festivals, and many small to medium sized businesses. Graeme has worked in corporate IT for all of his working life, designing, building and implementing a large variety of IT systems.

Preliminary architectural work and flip-page application selection process will begin shortly, with core development commencing as soon as the project funding is in place.

The vision for the archival website features a fresh, modern and mobile-friendly website, based upon an elegant and professional design that will get the project noticed. Of equal importance will be a user friendly reading experience….. and for me - the ability to manage and update content without having a degree in Information Technology!
